Day After Christmas

Posted: 12/26/06

On the day after Christmas, in my house, it seems as if toys that have motion, such as hot wheels toys that send cars shooting into tunnels and into each other, or trains with bridges that send trains rocketing down the track are the popular toys this year. Gravity, inertia, motion, and friction are science topics that are all being used to make these toys the fun (and noisy) items they are. Judging from the laughs, yells and giggles I hear from my boys, these science topics are great for preschoolers. Keep watching for some great preschool physics activities I'll be adding to this site. Thanks for checking out my blog and have a wonderful toy-filled time with your preschoolers.
